The reason you haven't heard of Neil Di Carlo until now is quite simple. He isn't a politician.
Neil is a conservative, Republican who has had enough with current politics. He's like you! He is a family man, a proud parent, a hardworking New Yorker.
Early Life
Neil Di Carlo, youngest of four, was born to American immigrants, Anne and Salvatore Di Carlo, in 1969. He grew up in the densely populated and culturally diverse neighborhoods of Mt. Vernon, New York, where he learned quickly. Work hard, work smart, and dream big.
In 1979, Neil's parents divorced, leaving Neil's mother to work at a local factory for minimal wages. Neil began a paper route and worked at the local deli.
From playing Ringolevio and Stoop Ball with friends and family, to being fired upon by a local gang, Neil speaks proudly of the rich heritage from which he comes and the invincible relationships forged amidst poverty and conflict.
Education and Professional Background
With a passion for news and sports, Neil pursued a career in photojournalism at New York Citys School of Visual Arts. Working at an afterschool program teaching children sports, working at the local deli, and doing freelance photography, Neil managed to cover expenses and excel in school, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
In 1994, Neil began working for Advanced Equities Services Corp. Neil has worked for this firm for the last 17 years, on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, where he currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. As Chief Compliance Officer, Neil is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing compliance issues, requiring him to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly and simply.
Marriage and Family
In 1997, a new spark glimmered in Neil's eye after meeting Debbie Olsen. Neil and Debbie were married in June of 2000. Neil and Debbie live with their six children, Camden, Braeden, Brice, Michelle, Thane and Silas, in Putnam County.
